Mat Dockerty

I'm Mat Dockerty, a professional photographer, based in Tamworth NSW.

Originally from England; Australia became my home when I was a child, having emigrated here with my parents and sister.

Since completing high-school my life has been a series of experience, from chasing brumbies through the snow covered alps up by Kosciusko’s side to keeping the peace, on deployment with the Australian Army and driving road-trains across the top of Australia. I’m not a big believer in bucket-lists, more of a Just Do It type.

Photography is my passion and I am constantly striving to improve upon my work, both technically and creatively. 

I completed a Bachelor Degree in Creative Arts & Design, specializing in photography, at Charles Sturt University and am continuing my studies toward a Journalism Degree.
